Prior to his underwater venture, Narendra Modi, on Sunday, extended his prayers at the Dwarkadhish Temple, a revered shrine dedicated to Lord Krishna in Gujarat. Located at the confluence of the Gomti River and the Arabian Sea, the Dwarkadhish Temple is one of the Char Dhams and holds significant importance for Vaishnavites. Lord Krishna, also known as Dwarkadhish, is the primary deity of this temple.

In a day full of spiritual engagements, the Prime Minister inaugurated the nation’s longest cable-stayed bridge, “Sudarshan Setu,” spanning the Arabian Sea and linking Beyt Dwarka island to Okha on the mainland in the Devbhumi Dwarka region. Additionally, he offered prayers at the Beyt Dwarka temple dedicated to Lord Sri Krishna.

PM Modi’s underwater ‘puja’ and his multifaceted engagements in Dwarka reflect a blend of spirituality, tradition, and modern infrastructure development.
