'PM Internship' scheme will start from today, those who apply will get these benefits


New Delhi: The PM Internship Scheme of the Central Government is going to start from today. Preparations have been made to launch a new centralized portal, through which applications will be invited from companies. People willing to intern will be able to apply on this portal from October 12. In the next 5 years, 1 crore youth will be given internship opportunity in the top 500 companies of the country. Every month, Rs 5,000 internship allowance and Rs 6,000 will be given in lump sum. Employment opportunities will be available with 12 months experience. Companies will bear 10% of the training cost and internship cost from their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund.

New parameters have been added in PM Awas Yojana 2.0, states' share has been made mandatory, rental house scheme is also included.

PM launches 'Amrit'

PM Modi said this on Swachh Bharat Mission

On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the journey of Swachh Bharat Mission is a symbol of the unwavering commitment of crores of countrymen. Describing the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan as the world's largest and most successful mass movement in this century, he said that every effort in the journey to a developed India will strengthen the mantra of 'Prosperity through cleanliness'. Over the past ten years, Indians have embraced this mission and made it a part of their lives.

At the milestone of ten years of the journey, the PM appreciated every countryman, Safai Mitras, religious leaders, sportspersons, celebrities, NGOs and media associates and said that the efforts of everyone have made the Swachh Bharat Mission a big mass movement. He said that the President, Vice President, former President and former Vice President have also contributed in the service of cleanliness and have given a great inspiration to the country. Swachh Bharat Mission has also given new impetus to circular economy.
