New Delhi. Sarfaraz Khan's younger brother Mushir Khan has become the first batsman to score a century in the Duleep Trophy 2024. Playing for India B at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, he scored a brilliant century against India A. Mushir completed his century in 205 balls. Mushir Khan, playing a Duleep Trophy match for the first time, scored a century on the wicket on which big players failed. Rishabh Pant, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Mushir's elder brother Sarfaraz Khan could not perform well on this wicket. While Pant was dismissed after scoring seven runs in the first innings, opener Yashasvi contributed 30 runs. Sarfaraz Khan returned to the pavilion on 9 runs. The way Sarfaraz celebrated after Mushir completed his century was worth watching.
Musheer Khan scored a century when India B had lost seven wickets for 94 runs. This is Musheer's first match in the Duleep Trophy. Musheer hit 10 fours and two sixes in his century innings. He played this innings in difficult times. After Musheer completed his century, his elder brother Sarfaraz stood up in the dressing room and celebrated by raising both hands. Sarfaraz's aggressive celebration was worth watching. However, Musheer also expressed his happiness by jumping in the air after scoring a century.
