Well An institute duped the complainant's daughter of Rs 4 lakh in the name of providing counselling for the exam. Based on the victim's statement, the police have registered a case and are investigating.

The police officer said that the complainant woman lives in Dakshinpuri Extension area. She has given a statement to the police that her 20-year-old daughter is preparing for the NEET exam. To get her daughter counseled for NEET UG 2024, she had asked for the numbers of some institutes from Just Dial. Just two days after this, she received a call from an unknown number.

The caller introduced herself as Priya. Who told that her office is in Indra Prakash Building. After talking, she asked to submit documents related to education and qualification for daughter's NEET counseling 2024. She submitted the documents on the WhatsApp number. Then she was called to the office located on the 6th floor of Indra Prakash Building to deposit the fees.
Disclosure made in NEET counseling class
The woman had gone there with her daughter. There she met three people including Priya. Then they extorted about 4 lakh rupees at different times in the name of counseling fees. When her daughter reached Subharti Medical College in Meerut, UP for counseling classes, she came to know that she had been cheated. Soon after this, when she reached the sixth floor of Indra Prakash Building on Barakhamba Road, she saw that it was locked.
