What is Kavad Yatra?

The Kanwar Yatra is an annual pilgrimage undertaken by devotees of Lord Shiva, which holds great significance for millions of Hindu devotees. The yatra begins on the first day of the Hindu month of Sawan, which begins in July. This year, the holy month began on July 22 and will end on August 6. Most pilgrims visit Haridwar, Uttarakhand and Baidyanath, Jharkhand to offer holy water brought from the Ganges River.

Heavy, medium and light vehicles going to Bulandshahr, Hapur and Moradabad from Noida-Greater Noida Expressway will use the Eastern Peripheral Expressway via Ghaziabad via Delhi-Badarpur Border Okhla Barrage.

Heavy, medium and light vehicles travelling from Delhi via Noida-Greater Noida Expressway via DND flyover to Noida, Ghaziabad to Bulandshahr, Hapur and Moradabad will use the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.

Heavy, medium and light vehicles going to Ghaziabad, Hapur and Moradabad via Chilla Red Light from Noida-Greater Noida Expressway will use the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.

Heavy, medium and light vehicles going to Ghaziabad, Hapur and Moradabad via the elevated MP-01 route will use the Eastern Peripheral Expressway instead of the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
