When did gray hair start appearing?
Before Covid, Nirmala Sitharaman was seen with black hair, but when she appeared after the pandemic situation improved, her style was completely changed.
There was no significant change in her clothes, but there was a lot of difference in her hair. Nirmala, who always kept her black hair tied in a clip, started to look completely white.
This move said a lot
Everyone was surprised to see this new look of Nirmala Sitharaman. But this step of hers was actually reflecting the changes that have come within her. The most important meaning of this step of Nirmala was that she has become very comfortable with her looks. She now wants to come in front of the world as she is. She does not want to get into any pretense nor does she want to bind herself to the standards of beauty.
Why are we saying this?
You can understand this by taking the example of yourself or the people around you. For example, if a girl has a dark complexion and she has always been trying to make herself fair, but a time came when she refused to follow the opinions of others. And after this, instead of finding ways to improve her complexion, she started improving her personality.
This step of the girl shows that now she does not feel the need to impress others with her beauty. And the same thing can be felt in Nirmala's step too.
Be judged by your intellect, not your looks
Such steps are taken when a person wants to be known for his intellect and not for his looks or attire. You will remember that once in a summit of a private channel, Nirmala was questioned about her saree, on which she got angry.
She had clearly told the host, 'Imagine if a male finance minister goes to present the budget wearing a black colour or jacket, will you ask him the same questions? Don't question my saree or hair and its colour. Rather focus on the budget prepared by me.'
This in itself was another big proof as to why Nirmala stopped colouring her hair and why she was always seen without makeup and in a simple saree.
Her statement highlights how a woman is judged on the basis of her looks, no matter how intelligent or qualified she is. And her showing off her grey hair is a protest against this.
If girls want to move forward, they will have to free themselves from this trap
The truth is that society sets the standard of beauty and everyone else tries to fit in. Caught in this web woven by society, people are seen compromising on everything from plastic surgery to various treatments and diets.
The situation is even worse especially in the case of girls. Therefore, every girl should learn from Nirmala Sitharaman and make it a habit to give utmost importance to self-acceptance as well as self-love in her life.
They must learn that beauty is temporary, but wisdom is everlasting.
