In a significant development, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken proactive steps to apprehend Khalistani terrorists by announcing cash rewards for information leading to the arrest of five members of the banned Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terror outfit. This move demonstrates the agency’s commitment to curbing Khalistani terrorism in India.

Wanted Terrorists and Rewards

The NIA has declared substantial cash rewards for the following wanted terrorists:

  • Harwinder Singh Sandhu alias “Rinda” – Rs 10 lakh bounty.
  • Lakhbir Singh Sandhu alias “Landa” – Rs 10 lakh bounty.
  • Parminder Singh Kaira alias “Pattu” – Rs 5 lakh bounty.
  • Satnam Singh alias “Satbir Singh” or “Satta” – Rs 5 lakh bounty.
  • Yadvinder Singh alias “Yadda” – Rs 5 lakh bounty.

These individuals are sought in connection with a case filed earlier this year, linked to BKI’s activities aimed at disrupting peace and communal harmony in India and spreading terror in Punjab.

Modus Operandi

The wanted terrorists are implicated in acts of terrorism, including fundraising for the banned terror organization BKI. Their activities involve the illegal smuggling of terrorist hardware and narcotics into Punjab, as well as extensive extortion from businesspersons and prominent figures. Their aim is to incite unrest and terror in Punjab.

Instilling Fear in Punjab

These accused individuals are also involved in cases of targeted killings and attacks on law enforcement agencies, with the intent of creating fear and instability in Punjab.

Investigations have revealed that the five terrorists have actively recruited new members for BKI by offering financial incentives. They have also established an extensive network of operatives in various countries to further their terror activities across India.

Contact Information for Reporting

The NIA has urged the public to provide any information that could lead to the arrest of these wanted terrorists. You can contact the NIA headquarters in New Delhi or the NIA Branch Office in Chandigarh using the following details:

In addition to the list of Khalistani terrorists, the NIA has also released two lists comprising a total of 54 individuals, along with their photographs, wanted in connection with its investigation into the terror-gangster nexus in India. The first list includes 11 persons, while the second mentions 43 persons, including wanted gangsters.
