Reservation in Agniveer Recruitment in BSF and CISF: A new rule of reservation has come in Agniveer recruitment. It is being implemented in the Central Security Forces. 10% reservation will be applicable in Agniveer recruitment in Border Security Force i.e. BSF and Central Industrial Security Force i.e. CISF. According to this, out of all the Agniveer posts to be recruited in BSF and CISF, 10% of the posts will be reserved for former Agniveers.

Although this decision was taken by the Union Home Ministry last year, now BSF and CISF have prepared a plan for it. On Thursday, July 11, the heads of CISF and BSF have announced that in future 10 percent reservation in constable posts will be for former Agniveers.

There will be relaxation in age limit and physical qualification of Agniveer

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) chief Neena Singh said, 'The Union Home Ministry has taken an important decision regarding the recruitment of former Agniveers. CISF is also preparing the process for the recruitment of former Agniveers.' She said that former Agniveers will also be given relaxation in the Agniveer physical test and age limit will also be relaxed. In the first year, the age limit of Agniveer will be relaxed by 5 years. Whereas in the subsequent years, this relaxation will be of three years. CISF will also benefit from this. Because the force will get trained and disciplined soldiers.

Meanwhile, Border Security Force (BSF) Director General Nitin Agarwal said, “They have four years of experience. They are fully disciplined and trained soldiers. This is a very good thing for the BSF because we are getting trained soldiers. After a short period of training, they will be deployed on the border.”

Aggarwal stressed that the recruitment of former Agniveers will benefit all the security forces. He said, 'We are waiting for their deployment after giving them conversion training. 10 percent of the total vacancies will be reserved for them. Age relaxation will be given.'
