Now the exam to be held on August 11 will be conducted in two shifts at about 500-600 centers.
Engineering colleges of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) centers are being selected. The centers about which even the slightest doubt has come up have been removed from the list. About 2.28 lakh candidates had registered for NEET PG exam 2024. This exam was to be held on June 23, but a day before the exam, the board had decided to postpone NEET-PG.

Officials of the National Board of Examinations (Medical Sciences) were present at all the centers. A team from the Union Home Ministry also visited the board headquarters. A command center was set up at the board headquarters in Dwarka. A team of TCS officials was also present. The Health Secretary says that no complaint has been received regarding the process of Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE). AICTE and TCS have started working at the examination centers.
Actually, a day before, there was a rumour of the question paper of this exam being leaked, but the ministry clearly said that the paper was not ready till Saturday evening. NBT Lens: There will be big changes in 2025
The report of the high level committee is yet to come. But it is certain that major changes will be seen in the competitive examination of 2025. Expert and career counselor Pradeep Kumar Upmanyu says that medical entrance exam NEET UG should also be brought in CBT mode and this exam can be conducted in multiple shifts. This suggestion has been given to the committee. He says that in CBT mode the possibility of paper leak is completely eliminated, because the computer itself selects the question.
It is possible that next year we may not see offline exams. CUET was also conducted in CBT mode for the first two years and later it was brought to hybrid mode. JEE Main is conducted only in CBT mode.
