MCC NEET Counselling New Date 2024: NEET Counseling 2024 has been postponed. The counseling was scheduled to begin today i.e. July 6, 2024, but now it has been postponed. Earlier, the Supreme Court in several hearings had refused to postpone the NEET UG counseling starting today. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will soon release an official notice in this regard on its official website –

The revised date of NEET counselling is likely to be announced after the Supreme Court hearing on July 8, 2024. This hearing will be done by a bench of CJI DY Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice Manoj Mishra. The bench will hear several petitions related to NEET UG 2024.

Let us tell you that NEET counseling is organized by the Medical Counseling Committee / Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India for 15% All India Quota. General category candidates who score more than 50% marks in the NEET UG exam will be eligible to participate in NEET All India Counseling.

The counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds including stray vacancy round and mop-up round. Students who clear the NEET UG exam will have to first register for counselling.

After registering for NEET UG counselling, candidates will have to pay the fees, fill in their choices, lock them, upload documents and then report to the allotted college. MCC will release the complete counselling schedule including the list of documents required for reporting.
