New Delhi: Islam preacher Zakir Naik has given a big statement regarding beef in Pakistan, which is being discussed a lot. He said that as far as cow meat is concerned, I have started a campaign. We are accused of eating cow meat. But Muslims do not like to eat cow meat, because the Prophet has clearly said in the Hadith that cow meat spreads disease and cow milk gives shifa (relief from disease). That is why it is said to defame us that Muslims eat cow meat. No one eats cow meat and I have continuously done programs on this. He further said, 'Apart from this, I say that the people who are responsible for maintaining peace in the country are the same people who are spreading lies and making false allegations against Muslims. They try to spoil the atmosphere of the country. He further said that if you investigate honestly, you will find that many people doing business of cow meat are non-Muslims. No one is Muslim.
Muslims do not make cow meat their business. In any case, this is a false accusation on Muslims and those who argue that we do not eat it and neither should we.
