Sharvari Wagh, Abhay Verma and Mona Singh's film 'Munjya' is really creating a stir at the box office. While big Bollywood and South films are failing badly, this small budget horror-comedy without any big star is doing wonders. The special thing is that the earnings of 'Munjya' are increasing instead of decreasing in the weekdays. In five days, this film has made a net collection of Rs 27.40 crores. On the other hand, there has been a slight improvement in the earnings of Rajkumar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor's 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' on Tuesday, but now it is earning only in lakhs.
According to the report of sacnilk, 'Munjya', directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, has earned Rs 4.15 crore on the 5th day i.e. Tuesday. A day before, on Monday, it had earned Rs 4 crore, the same as the opening day. The number of viewers who came to watch 'Munjya' on Tuesday has also increased. Viewers occupied about 18% of the seats in the theaters.

'Munjya' is in a stronger position than 'Article 370'
Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, who made 'Stree' and 'Bhediya', have once again managed to win the hearts of the audience through horror-comedy. This year, after 'Shaitan' and 'Article 370', 'Munjya' has become the third hit film of Bollywood. In fact, it is in a better position than Yami Gautam's 'Article 370'. On the first Monday, Yami's film's earnings fell by -30 percent compared to the opening day. Whereas this is not the case with 'Munjya'. A large part of the film's earnings is coming from the family audience. From children to adults, everyone is enjoying it a lot in theaters.
'Munjya' can earn 75-80 crores in lifetime
The budget of 'Munjya' is said to be around Rs 25 crore. That means the film has crossed its budget in just five days. The success of 'Munjya' in the scorching heat and the box office which has been sluggish for months is a big lesson for other filmmakers as well. The way this film is earning right now, it will not be a surprise if it earns Rs 75-80 crore in its lifetime. However, 'Chandu Champion' releasing on Friday and Prabhas' 'Kalki 2898 AD' releasing on June 27 can definitely harm its earnings.
Advance booking of 'Chandu Champion': Earned so many crores in two days, will be released after 3 days, will Kartik Aryan win?
'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' earned Rs. 90 lakhs on the 12th day
On the other hand, the pace of the film 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' directed by Sharan Sharma is now slowing down. This film which was earning crores till now has been reduced to lakhs in the last two days. On the 12th day of its release i.e. Tuesday, this film has done a business of Rs 90 lakh. However, its condition has definitely improved a bit compared to the earnings of Rs 85 lakh on Monday. The total collection of Rajkumar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor's 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' has now become Rs 31.60 crore. The budget of this film is Rs 40 crore. In such a situation, it will have to strengthen its hold to become a hit. However, now it seems difficult for it to earn even Rs 50 crore.
