The central government has removed former NTA chairman Subodh Singh and appointed Pradeep Singh Kharola as NTA director. What positions has Pradeep Singh Kharola held?

Pradeep Singh Kharola, who was the Chairman and Managing Director of the Indian Trade Promotion Organization, is a 1985 batch IAS officer of Karnataka cadre. Born in 1961, Kharola has also been the Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and before that, the Director of the Ministry of Tourism.

National Award and Prime Minister's Award

IAS Pradeep Singh Kharola has received the National Award for e-Governance. He has worked as Joint Secretary in the National Administrative Reforms Commission. He has also been awarded the Prime Minister's Outstanding Public Administration Award for outstanding service in public administration.
