Ethnic violence has been going on for a year

There is a demand for a political solution to stop the ethnic violence that has been going on in Manipur for the past one year. People of the Kuki community are on the streets demanding a Union Territory with an assembly for the hill region. A few days ago, in a program, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat had also said that Manipur has been waiting for peace for a year. This has to be considered on priority.
