Mandhana's six helped India win, beat South Africa and level the series

New Delhi. The Indian women's cricket team won the three-match T20 series against South Africa by 10 wickets. After losing the first match, the second match was washed out due to rain. The third T20 was a do or die situation for India and the women dominated with a one-sided win. Batting first, South Africa were bowled out for 84 runs in front of the deadly bowling of Pooja Vastrakar and Radha Yadav. Shefali Verma and Smriti Mandhana achieved the target of victory without losing any wicket and leveled the series 1-1.

The Indian women's team has shown a great game against South Africa. India lost the first match of the three-match T20 series by 12 runs. The second match could not be played due to rain. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and decided to bowl first in the do-or-die third T20 match. The deadly bowling of Pooja Vastrakar and Radha Yadav did not give the South African batsmen a chance to survive. Both of them together took 7 wickets and the entire team was all out for 84 runs in 17.1 overs.

India won by 10 wickets
The Indian opening pair came out to chase the small target of 85 runs given by South Africa and scored freely. Smriti Mandhana and Shefali Verma never gave the South African bowlers a chance to make a comeback in this match. Mandhana played an unbeaten innings of 54 runs hitting 8 fours and 2 sixes in 40 balls. Shefali played an innings of 27 runs in 25 balls.
