Lok Sabha elections: We fought against BJP, CBI-ED… After the results, Rahul fired sharp arrows at Modi

New Delhi: The results of the Lok Sabha elections are in front of the country. Congress and India Alliance have performed better than expected. BJP is in a position to form the government but its performance is very poor. In such a situation, the opposition is firing sharp arrows at PM Modi and BJP. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said in a press conference, 'India Alliance and Congress Party did not fight this election against just one political party, we fought this election against BJP, institutions of India, CBI-ED, all of them, because these institutions were scared by Narendra Modi ji and Amit Shah ji, the fight was to save the Constitution.'

On the possibilities of forming a government with JDU and TDP, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said, 'As we said earlier, we will have a meeting with our allies of the All India Alliance tomorrow. Only after that something can be said in this regard. We will not make any statement on this without talking to the parties of our alliance.' Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said, 'I have won both the seats. I thank the voters of Wayanad and Rae Bareli from the bottom of my heart. I will take some time and decide from which seat I will contest the election. I have not decided yet.' He said, 'The poorest people of India have worked to save the Constitution. Workers, farmers, Dalits, tribals, backward people have worked to save this Constitution.'

'The public has understood the lies spread by Modi ji'

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said, 'The public has understood the lies spread by Modi ji regarding the Congress manifesto. During both the yatras of Rahul Gandhi, Bharat Jodo Yatra and Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, meeting crores of people, listening to their problems and finding solutions to those problems became the basis of our campaign.'

I am very happy. I want to tell the people of Uttar Pradesh that they have shown a lot of wisdom and I am most proud of my Uttar Pradesh.

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi said on Lok Sabha election results

'This is a political and moral defeat of Prime Minister Modi'

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday said the result of this Lok Sabha election is a victory of the people and democracy and it is a political and moral defeat of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Kharge told reporters, “This is the result of the people. This is the victory of the people, the victory of democracy. We have been saying from the beginning that this fight is Modi versus the people.” He said, “In this election of the 18th Lok Sabha, we have humbly accepted the opinion of the people.
