Rules for LLB and AIBE Exam: Big relief has been given to those studying law. Now you don't have to wait for a year for better earnings and new enrollments. Your entire year will not be wasted. The Supreme Court has given such a decision in favor of LLB students which is completely beneficial for them. According to the interim decision of the apex court, students studying law can now appear for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) in the final year. That means the eligibility criteria for AIBE exam has changed.
bar council exam rules
Till now, only those people could appear in the Bar Council examination who had registered with the Bar Council. Registration in BCI is available only after completion of graduation (LLB degree, LLM or other law degree). Applicants for the Bar Examination were required to upload their Bar Council Enrollment Certificate on the AIBE website.
But now this will not be a compulsion. You can apply and appear for AIBE while studying LLB (final year). In its latest decision, the Supreme Court has abolished the requirement of Bar Council registration.

AIBE: What benefits will law students get?
Experts say that this will not only save the entire year of the students, but will also help in earning. If students pass the Bar Council examination while studying law, then they get better salary offers after completing the degree. Even the stipend in law internships is likely to be higher.
Law experts also say that appearing for AIBE in the final year of law will make it easier for students to enter the practice of law. Due to the rules that were in place till now, it was very difficult to prepare for the bar exam while being a practicing lawyer. Now if students pass the examination during graduation itself, then after completion of the degree they will have to complete only the enrollment formalities.
