Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin recently opened up about her post-divorce relationship with director Anurag Kashyap. She revealed that the initial years following their divorce were challenging, but with time, they managed to build a strong friendship.
In a conversation in interview, Kalki shared that during the first few years after their divorce, they couldn’t be the close friends they are today. It took time to heal and move forward. Kalki emphasized that after their separation, they needed space to process their feelings and adjust to each other’s lives. She acknowledged that it’s painful to learn about the other person’s new relationships and experiences.
Kalki also mentioned that she underwent therapy during this period. Now, after seven to eight years, they are in a good place and have become good friends.
Kalki made her Bollywood debut in the 2009 film “Dev D,” which was directed by Anurag Kashyap. Their relationship developed on the film’s set, and they got married in 2011. However, their marriage ended in divorce after around four years. Kalki is currently in a relationship with Guy Hershberg, with whom she welcomed their daughter, Sappho, in 2020.
