Amitabh Bachchan and Glow Starrer 'Kalki 2898 AD' has suffered a major setback for the first time. On the second Monday of its release, the film's earnings have fallen by -76.55%. On the 12th day, this scientific-fiction film based on the Mahabharata epic has earned the lowest ever. However, this film is still in a strong position on both national and international fronts. In terms of worldwide earnings, it has already become the 7th biggest Indian film by beating Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2'. While now Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' is its target. According to the report of sacnilk, 'Kalki 2898 AD', directed by Nag Ashwin, has made a net collection of Rs 10.40 crore in the country on the 12th day i.e. Monday. In this way, the total collection of the film at the Indian box office has now become Rs 520.45 crore. A day earlier, on Sunday, the film had done a business of Rs 44.35 crore on the weekend. In such a scenario, earnings on Monday have fallen by -76.55%.

Kakali 2898 AD was the highest grossing Hindi film on Monday as well

Kalki 2898 AD's budget is Rs 600 crore. On its second Monday, the film earned the highest amount of Rs 6.5 crore from the Hindi version. While the Telugu version earned Rs 2.65 crore. On the 12th day, there has been a huge decrease in the number of viewers who came to watch 'Kalki 2898 AD' in theaters. The average audience occupancy was 23.72%. That is, in the show of the film in the theaters, only about 24 out of 100 seats were occupied by the audience.

Worldwide collection of 'Kalki 2898 A.D.'

This film starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani has collected Rs 846.40 crore worldwide in 12 days. It is already at number 9 in the list of highest grossing films worldwide. It is expected that by Thursday it will surpass the worldwide collection of Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' of Rs 915 crore.
