Nag Ashwin's directorial venture 'Kalki 2898 AD' hit the theatres on June 27 and within a week of its release, the film has crossed the Rs 700 crore mark worldwide. The director recently revealed that Prabhas wanted to be beaten more than Amitabh Bachchan's character in the film. Nag Ashwin told that Prabhas was always helpful during the making of the film. Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika were the focus in special scenes of the film and Nag Ashwin also told that Prabhas had no problem with it at all. He was answering the question of how Prabhas reacts to his screen presence in the film during pre-production discussions. Ashwin does not think that there was any such discussion between them. He told that for a star like him, Prabhas is very rarely bothered by such things.

Nag Ashwin further said that, looking back, it was a big deal for a lead actor to get beaten up by another actor, in a world where not everyone does it. Prabhas wanted to take on Amitabh Bachchan and he would tell Big B, 'Sir, hold me tight.' Nag Ashwin promised to make a sequel to 'Kalki 2898 AD'. In the next part, Prabhas will face Kamal Haasan.
