Actor Jaideep Ahlawat stunned everyone with his body transformation for the role of Jadunath Maharaj, a powerful nobleman from pre-independence India who preys on the weak and downtrodden, in the Netflix film 'Maharaj'. Now, speaking in an interview, he revealed that it was not an easy journey to go through the process. He lost around 26 kilos in just five months for the character. In the interview, Jaideep said that 'the physical transformation was very challenging physically. I had not been working out for almost a year, I had become very heavy after the lockdown. It was tough and painful. Thanks to Prajwal sir, my trainer, director Siddharth P Malhotra and all those people who believed that I could do it.' Jaideep said, 'This man thinks very differently. He feels that everyone is small in front of him. He has this belief. He does not get angry over small things. I had to do this first for myself and then for the audience. I was able to do this because of my director, my writer and my costume designer.
