New Delhi. Punjab Kings gave a big blow to Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians. With Punjab's victory, Mumbai Indians have slipped to 10th i.e. last place in the points table. Jasprit Bumrah of Mumbai Indians also got a shock from this match. Harshal Patel of Punjab Kings has snatched the purple cap from Jasprit Bumrah by dismissing the Rajasthan batsmen.

Harshal Patel took 2 wickets against Rajasthan Royals. He dismissed Ryan Parag (48), who played the biggest innings for Rajasthan, and impact player Donovan Ferreira (7). Harshal's bowling analysis was 4-0-28-2. With this, Harshal Patel has increased his number of wickets to 22 in IPL 2024 and has captured the Purple Cap.
