IND vs SA T20 World Cup Final: When Rohit-Pant returned cheaply, Kohli stood firm, Akshar gave a beautiful support

New Delhi. India had a very bad start in the T20 World Cup. Captain Rohit Sharma was out after scoring 9 runs and Rishabh Pant could not even open his account. Mr. 360 degree Suryakumar Yadav could score only 3 runs. After losing 3 wickets for 34 runs, Virat Kohli took charge of the struggling Indian team. He played a beautiful innings of 76 runs and took India to 176 runs. This is the highest score in a T20 World Cup final.

Maharaj gave a double blow
Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss in the T20 World Cup final and decided to bat first. Rohit's decision proved wrong when India lost two wickets within 23 runs. Keshav Maharaj gave India a double blow by dismissing Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant in his very first over. Suryakumar Yadav also could not stay at the crease for long. He returned to the pavilion after scoring 3 runs off 4 balls. Suryakumar was caught out by Klassen on Rabada's ball.

The gamble to promote Akshar was successful
After losing 3 wickets for 34 runs, the Indian team was under pressure. Captain Rohit Sharma changed the batting lineup on this occasion and sent Akshar Patel at number five. This move of Rohit proved to be effective. Akshar played an innings of 47 runs in 31 balls. He hit 4 sixes and a four in this innings.

This innings of Akshar Patel gave Virat Kohli a chance to play his natural game. Kohli held one end and scored 76 runs in 59 balls to take India to a big score. He hit 6 fours and 2 sixes in this innings.

Many colors were seen in Kohli's innings
Virat Kohli's innings showed many colors. He showed his intention to play fast by hitting 3 fours to Marco Jansen in the first over. But when India lost 3 wickets within 34 runs, Kohli changed his game. He held one end and first took India past 100 runs. Once it was decided that India would not be out early, Kohli again changed gears and scored runs fast.
