In Ramayana, Ravana paid the price for not listening to Mandodari, even in Kalyug, husbands are making the same mistake

The bond of marriage is a very beautiful relationship, two people start a new life by taking vows to live and die with each other. Therefore, along with respecting each other, we are also taught to respect each other's thoughts and understanding. There should be absolutely no place for ego and pride in a relationship. Ravana did not understand this at all.

In Ramayana, King Dasharath accepted Kaikeyi's words, even though Lord Rama had to go into exile, Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram also accepted Sita's words and went after the deer, but Ravana made fun of Mandodari's words due to arrogance, for which he has to suffer the consequences till date, the same mistake is being made by today's husbands, who should understand the reason behind their wife's words. That's why we are talking about Ravana's mistake and the lesson learnt from it.

Ravana did not stop even on Mandodari's request

When Ravana kidnapped Sita and brought her to Lanka, Mandodari tried to stop him from doing so. She explained that kidnapping another's woman like this is against religion. Despite this, Ravana did not listen to her and took Mandodari's words lightly. The result was that Hanuman reached Lanka as Ram's messenger. He not only found Sita but also burnt the golden Lanka.

Ravana was punished for not following his advice

After Hanuman returned from Lanka, Mandodari deployed her spies all over Lanka. Then the people of Lanka started talking about different things. Everyone was saying that the one whose messenger came and killed so many demons alone, Lanka was burnt. If he comes here to fight, then who will save us.

Knowing the fear of the people, she again explained to Ravana that it is not right to be hostile towards Ram, it is in the best interest of Lanka to return Sita. But Ravana did not pay any attention to Mandodari's words, due to arrogance he said that you get scared even before a good work. In the end, Ravana was killed after fighting with Ram.

In Kaliyug, husbands also make the same mistake

In Kaliyug, husbands also make the same mistake

No matter how much the times have changed in Kaliyug, even today the wife takes great care of her husband. Along with getting rid of bad habits, she also remains engaged in making life happy. But in a male-dominated country, the husband does not accept to listen to the wife, he does not understand that almost all things are done for the benefit of both.

We learn a great lesson from Raavan's mistake

We learn a great lesson from Raavan's mistake

The way Raavan ignored Mandodari's advice, this mistake is indeed a lesson for all husbands. No matter how powerful and intelligent you are, giving importance to your spouse's words can save you from many troubles. Every person should include the advice of their spouse in the important decisions of their life. Decisions taken unilaterally or out of stubbornness always lead to ruin.

If you understand your wife, you will agree to everything

If you understand your wife, you will agree to everything

Just like our parents stop us from doing certain things for our own good, similarly if the wife is refusing to do something, there are many reasons behind it. Therefore, the husband should understand the reason for the refusal as well as her fear. Because the wife's fear is not for anyone else but for you.
