In Haryana, BJP's own people increased its problems, know the reason behind the rebellion

Raj Kumar Singh: Discontent in political parties at the time of ticket distribution is nothing new, but what is happening in Haryana BJP would be more correct to call it rebellion rather than discontent. As the list of candidates came out, the voices of rebellion grew louder. Of course, Congress, which is hoping to return to power after ten years, has also got a chance to taunt BJP, but it should not be forgotten that Congress itself has been a victim of factionalism in Haryana for a long time and this time it is announcing the candidates very thoughtfully.

Tickets of many MLAs were cut

The kind of rebellion that is happening in Haryana BJP today has probably never happened before. There is a reason for this. Cutting the tickets of 15 MLAs including four ministers is not a normal thing. Last time BJP had won 40 seats in the 90-member Haryana Assembly. That means tickets of more than one-third of the MLAs were cut. But it is also true that similar strategies have proved effective for it in other states as well.

Eliminate anti-establishment sentiment

This must have been done to reduce anti-government sentiment. It is not unnatural for people to have anti-government sentiment after ten years of rule, but it cannot be assumed that it will end just by changing faces. Anti-government sentiment is against the government, but being its local representative, the MLA has to bear the brunt of it the most. Voters expect better work, workers also put pressure on the MLA for their work. If expectations are not fulfilled, the MLA has to pay the price of displeasure – sometimes in the form of ticket cancellation and sometimes in the form of electoral defeat.

Ignoring the leaders

In frustration at ticket denial, accusations and counter-accusations are made and political options are also explored, but crying on camera is a new trend. Only the election results will tell how much sympathy will be received if one contests from other parties or independently, but the message of ignoring old leaders has definitely been conveyed. Defending such decisions becomes even more difficult when the party imposes candidates from other parties or areas. For example, if Health Minister Banwari Lal was not discharging his duties properly, he should have been removed from the cabinet earlier. But how can giving a ticket to his health director be justified as soon as he left the post?

CM is changing seat

Similarly, independent MLA Ranjit Singh Chautala was first made a minister in the Manohar Lal and Naib Singh Saini governments. Then he was made the BJP candidate from Hisar in the Lok Sabha elections, but after losing he was not even considered worthy of an assembly ticket from his traditional seat. MLA Mohan Lal Baroli was made to contest the Lok Sabha elections from Sonipat. After losing, he was also made the state president of the BJP, but now he is not even contesting the assembly elections. Chief Minister Naib Singh changing his seat for the fourth time in ten years is also a matter of discussion.

Bet on defectors

Due to the allegations, Sonipat MP Ramesh Kaushik's ticket was cancelled, now his brother has been given ticket from Ganaur. The question is being raised that was there no better old loyal leader in the party than Ramesh Kaushik's brother who came to BJP from Congress? The allegations against BJP of betting on turncoats have been increasing since 2014, it did not refrain from nepotism even in these assembly elections. After sending Kiran Chaudhary, who came from Congress two months ago, to Rajya Sabha, her daughter Shruti Chaudhary has also been given ticket from Tosham.

Minister of State's pain

This time, Aarti, daughter of Union Minister of State Rao Indrajit Singh, also got a ticket, but due to constant neglect, his pain has started to become vocal. Modi government was formed for the third time at the center and in June this year he was again made a minister of state, then Indrajit expressed his pain and said that he has probably made a record of being the longest serving minister of state at the center. Keep in mind that before making lotus bloom in the Modi wave in 2014, Rao Indrajit Singh had also been a minister of state at the center in the Congress government.

Dream of CM post

Indrajit, who is considered to be the biggest leader of Ahirwal region, never hid his dream of becoming the Chief Minister, but now when BJP is trying to score a hat-trick of power in Haryana too, he is reminding that if Ahirwal had not given full public support, Manohar Lal would not have become the Chief Minister twice. It does not seem that BJP, which listened to Rao in ticket distribution, will be able to fulfill his dream of becoming the Chief Minister. From Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Union Energy and Urban Development Minister Manohar Lal, everyone has said that if the government is formed, Nayab Singh Saini will be the Chief Minister.

Obstacles in the way

In such a situation, the moves of Rao, an old player in politics, will definitely increase challenges for the BJP which is grappling with unprecedented internal conflicts. A 'hat-trick' of power in politically alert and active Haryana is a difficult challenge in itself. It will not be easy for the BJP to deal with the obstacles of internal conflict and sabotage on that path.
