Indian Team to Begin Campaign Against Bangladesh
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the schedule for the upcoming ICC U19 World Cup 2023. The defending champions, India, will kickstart their campaign with a match against Bangladesh, set to take place in Colombo on January 14. This tournament will be hosted across five venues, including Colombo. The grand finale of the Under-19 World Cup is scheduled for February 4th at the R.K. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. This marks the 15th edition of the ICC U19 World Cup 2023, featuring a total of 41 matches.
Zimbabwe to Face Host Sri Lanka in Opening Match
The opening match of the tournament will see Zimbabwe taking on the challenge posed by the host nation, Sri Lanka, on January 13. It’s worth noting that Sri Lanka last hosted the Under-19 World Cup back in 2006, making this event a return to Sri Lankan soil after nearly 17 years.
