Hairstylist Nanda made serious allegations against Urmila Matondkar and Amala Paul

Urmila Matondkar was not a star when she was cast in 'Rangeela'. Till then she had worked as a child artist for a few years and had also worked in some films as an adult, but she got recognition only after Ram Gopal Varma's 'Rangeela'. In a recent interview, a hair stylist who worked with her told about her experience during 'Rangeela'. Hair stylist Nanda, while talking to 'Bollywood Now', recalled an incident when Urmila made her cry. Nanda told that she had worked with Urmila for the photoshoot of 'Rangeela' in Borivali National Park. Nanda told that in those days she used to assist another hair stylist named Maria. But today she is working on her own. She recalled, 'Urmila asked where is Maria? I said that Didi has gone for a shoot. She had to leave immediately. So she asked is this not a shoot? Is this not work? So I said I don't know anything. Didi has sent me.'

Nanda recalled that when she began working on Urmila's hair, the actress started pointing out her mistakes so much that the hairstylist eventually started crying. 'She kept pointing out the mistakes because she wanted to work with Maria. She could have let me work as an assistant but she didn't like me working on her hair alone. I would just stand there with tears in my eyes, but I never cried in front of her. She only wanted to work with Maria.'

Also told the story of Amala Paul

She further told about Amala Paul, 'Once I went to a shoot with Amala Paul in Chennai. I did not know her directly, I went through a friend of mine. When we went for the shoot around April or May, it was very hot. It was very hot and there was not a single tree for shade on the location, so we went inside the vanity van. There are two parts in the van, one where the actors sit and the other where the technicians are. So when we came inside and sat, Amala told her manager to ask us to go out. The actress said through the manager – tell them that they are not allowed to sit in the vanity van. So when the manager told us this, the makeup man and I started looking at each other's faces. We were thinking where should we go in such heat?' Still we had to get out of the van.
