Green signal may be given for the release of 'Emergency', makers told the court – we are ready to cut

The path for the release of Kangana Ranaut's film 'Emergency' seems to be clearing. It is reported that the producers of the film have agreed to make the cuts suggested by the censor board. On Monday, the lawyer for the film's co-producer 'Zee Studios' said in the Bombay High Court that the producers have decided to implement the changes suggested by the amendment committee of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Well, this is also interesting, because just two days ago Kangana had clearly said that she will not make any cuts in 'Emergency'. Along with being the lead actress of the film, Kangana is also the director and co-producer. The Censor Board had told the court in the last hearing that they have approved Kangana Ranaut's film 'Emergency' with a U/A certificate, but about 13 cuts have been made in the film. The board's lawyer had said that unless these cuts are made, he cannot give the green signal to the release of the film. Now during the hearing on Monday, the lawyer of 'Zee Studios' told the High Court that the film producers have agreed to the amendments proposed by the committee.
