Amidst allegations of irregularities in the NEET exam, Dharmendra Pradhan informed about the formation of a high-level committee to investigate the functioning of the NTA.

How does NTA conduct the exam? The committee will review it

Union Education Minister Pradhan said that 'Suggestions will be sought from this high-level committee to further improve the structure, functioning, examination process, transparency and data security protocol of NTA. If any officer of the National Testing Agency is found guilty, strict action will be taken against him.'

He said, 'I want to assure everyone that the government is committed to protecting the rights of students. We will not compromise on transparency.'

On the other hand, on the continuous updates coming about the NEET exam in Bihar, the minister said, 'We have received information about the NEET exam from the Bihar government. Patna Police is investigating the matter and they will soon send a detailed report to the Government of India. Initial information indicates that the irregularities were limited to a particular area.'

Finally he said, 'We should have faith in our system. Any irregularity or misconduct on the part of the government will not be tolerated.'
