Rane also explained about this in detail. He said that we are requesting all our vendors who are going to work with us, in terms of outsourcing all our security and manpower. We want at least 15 percent of their workforce to be firefighters. Atul Dinkar Rane said this would be a message to people planning to work with BrahMos to give Agniveer a chance too.
Reservation in other organizations
At present, Agniveers get 10 per cent reservation in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) which comes under the purview of the Home Ministry. If they want to enter any CAPF organization then they are also exempted from certain physical tests as compared to other candidates. In July, Haryana had announced a 10 percent quota for Agniveer in selected government jobs. The state government also announced that it will provide a subsidy of Rs 60,000 per year to industrial units providing firefighters with a monthly salary of more than Rs 30,000.
