GOAT fell down with a thud on Monday, 'Tumbad' did a 'gulati' again, 'Yudhra' failed the first Monday test

While on one hand 'Stree 2' is making a splash at the box office even after 40 days, the earnings of the re-released horror-thriller 'Tumbad' have surprised again on Monday. This film has earned more than Rs 1 crore even on the 11th day of its re-release. On the other hand, 'Yudhra', released on Friday, has failed miserably in the first Monday test. While Thalapathy Vijay's 'The Greatest of All Time' has also suffered a major setback on Monday after the weekend. 'The Greatest of All Time', directed by Venkat Prabhu, had raised hopes over the weekend. Made in a budget of more than Rs 400 crore, GOAT may have been included in the list of highest-grossing films in Tamil, but the truth is that it has proved to be a flop. The film's earnings had jumped over the weekend thanks to Thalapathy's fans. But by Monday, it has suffered a major setback and earnings have fallen by -77.45%.

GOAT has lost to 'Tumbbad' in Hindi

Thalapathy Vijay's GOAT's condition is very bad in Hindi. This can be gauged from the fact that it has earned only 16.09 crores from the Hindi version in 19 days. Whereas the re-released 'Tumbad' has done more business than this in just 11 days. Now on the coming Friday, Junior NTR, Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan's 'Devra' is also releasing. In such a situation, there is every possibility of further decline in GOAT's earnings from Friday.

'Tumbbad' re-release box office collection day 11

After 'Stree 2', the only film that has surprised with its earnings in theatres is Soham Shah starrer 'Tumbbad', which despite being re-released, has made a net collection of Rs 21.75 crore in 11 days. This is the highest collection of any re-released film till date. It is also interesting that when 'Tumbbad' was first released in 2018, it did a lifetime business of Rs 13 crore. On Monday, even on the 11th day of its release, this film has earned Rs 1.00 crore.

'Yudhra' box office collection on fourth day

Amidst all this, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Raghav Juyal's 'Yudhra' was released last Friday. Directed by Ravi Udyawar, this action film has earned only Rs 75 lakhs on its first Monday. The budget of the film is around 40 crores and it has collected only Rs 9.25 crores net in four days. Like Kareena Kapoor's 'The Buckingham Murders', it would be futile to expect much from this film as well.
