F&O Update: NSE changes lot size, new rules will be applicable from April 26


New Delhi. If you are an investor in the stock market then this is important news for you. Actually, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) has changed the lot size. There has been a change in the lot size of Nifty 50 index. Market lots have been reduced from 50 to 25. The lot size of Nifty Financial Services or FINNIFTY has been reduced from 40 to 25, and the lot size of Nifty Midcap Select or MIDCPNIFTY has been reduced from 75 to 50.

All Nifty contracts available for trading from April 26, 2024, i.e. weekly, monthly, quarterly and half yearly expiries will be with revised market lot sizes. However, there has been no change in the lot size 15 of Nifty Bank or BankNifty contracts.
