It is being claimed that the BJP candidate is seen accepting his defeat in the election in advance. The video which is going viral is a small part of an interview. In this, Manoj Tiwari tells journalist Anil Sharda that, I have realized my defeat. Sadly, I have been winning for a long time and now this defeat has come. Investigation revealed that Manoj Tiwari was referring to the incident related to the 2009 Lok Sabha elections. During this, he had commented about the defeat, which is being made viral on social media.

With the help of this, we searched the keyword and found the original video. We found the watermark of 'Gist' YouTube This interview has been uploaded in full on the channel, which is dated 31 March 2024. In this, journalist Anil Sharda asks him about the story of contesting elections against Yogi Adityanath from Gorakhpur seat. Describing it as an interesting chapter of his life, Manoj Tiwari says, Amar Singh ji had contacted me for this. Before the 2009 elections, a meeting was held at Amitabh Bachchan's house for this, in which Anil Ambani was also present. I did not want to contest the elections but could not firmly say no. In this conversation, Manoj Tiwari also tells that he did not want to contest the elections, because he was a supporter of Yogi Adityanath and he was also an ABVP worker during his student life.
