Sources said the Additional Secretary of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) will investigate the matter. The committee will submit its report in two weeks. Khedkar is accused of misusing benefits under the physically handicapped category and Other Backward Classes (OBC) quota to get a place in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). She was transferred from Pune to Washim due to allegations of misbehaviour. She took charge as Assistant District Magistrate in Washim District Collectorate in Vidarbha region on Thursday.
