What is needed to make Ubtan?
- Green moong dal – 2 teaspoon
- Masoor dal – 2 teaspoon
- Neem powder – 1 teaspoon
- Sandalwood – 1 teaspoon
- Multani mitti – 1 teaspoon
- Kasturi Turmeric – 1 teaspoon
- Raw milk – as needed
Comment- It would be better if you use Kasturi turmeric instead of the turmeric present in the kitchen. Apart from this, you can also use water instead of raw milk.
Why use pulses to make Ubtan?
Till date you must have used turmeric and sandalwood paste, but we have used two types of pulses in this. This is because both these pulses are rich in antioxidants and work like a scrub on the skin and help in removing dead cells. If you want, you can also make a scrub of these at home.
Benefits of applying Kasturi Turmeric on the skin
Like the spice turmeric, fenugreek also has antibacterial, antiseptic and antioxidant properties, which prevent acne, blemishes and bacteria from spreading on our skin. Due to its bitter taste, it is used less in food, but it is very beneficial for the skin.
