Election results did not have much effect on 'Mr and Mrs Mahi', 'Srikanth' remained the same as on Tuesday

Due to the results of the Lok Sabha elections, people across the country were glued to their TV and mobile screens on Tuesday. It was already feared that its effect would be seen on the box office collection. However, the good thing is that there was not much loss. While the collection of Rajkumar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor's film 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' has decreased by about -14% on Tuesday compared to Monday, the collection of 'Saavi' has decreased by -22%. The interesting thing is that the business of 'Srikanth' has not suffered any loss. 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi', directed by Sharan Sharma, is a feel-good sports drama film. Made on a budget of Rs 40 crore, this film has made a net collection of Rs 20.85 crore in 5 days. After doing a business of Rs 16.85 crore in the first weekend, it earned Rs 2.15 crore on the fourth day, Monday. On Tuesday, an average of 11 percent seats were filled in the shows of 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' in theaters, which is a good sign.

5 Hindi films released in theatres, 'Mr and Mrs Mahi' is in the lead

It is worth mentioning that at this time 5 new and old Hindi films are running in theatres. Out of these, only 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' is earning well. The collection of the film may not be bumper, but considering the sluggishness prevailing in theatres for the last two and a half months, it will be called good. Now if this film has to earn profit by exceeding its budget and prove to be a hit, then it will have to have a strong hold on the earnings. For this, it is necessary that the film does not earn less than one crore in the first week, because only then its path ahead will be easy.

'Saavi' earned 43 lakhs on the fifth day

On the other hand, Divya Khosla Kumar and Anil Kapoor's 'Saavi' which released on Friday also doesn't have much strength left. The film did business of crores in three days in its first weekend, but after Monday, it could earn only lakhs once again on Tuesday. According to sacnilk, 'Saavi' has earned 43 lakhs on the 5th day. A day before on Monday, it had done a business of 55 lakhs. The total business of thriller-drama 'Saavi' has now become 6.28 crores.

26 days old 'Srikanth' earned 35 lakhs on Tuesday

Rajkumar Rao's 'Srikanth', which has been running in theatres for 26 days, is now in its last phase. After Monday, the film has earned Rs 35 lakh on Tuesday as well. Made on a budget of Rs 40 crore, the total collection of this film has now become Rs 44.95 crore. To reach a lifetime collection of Rs 50 crore, it will still have to earn Rs 5.05 crore. For this, it will have to make another attempt in the weekend.
