  • First of all go to the official website of IRCTC http://irctc.co.in.
  • Login to your account.
  • On the home page, you have to click on 'Link Your Aadhaar' in the 'My Account' option.
  • After this, you will have to fill the Aadhaar related information and go to the check box and select the option of 'Send OTP'.
  • Now you have to select Verify OTP while entering OTP.
  • After completion of KYC your Aadhaar will be linked to IRCTC account.

  • Install IRCTC Rail Connect app on your mobile phone and log in by entering IRCTC ID and password.
  • To book an e-ticket, click on the train. Then tap on 'Book Ticket'.Then enter the name of the nearest railway station, travel date etc. and click on search train.
  • You can also check the 'Flexible with date' option.
  • The list of trains will be displayed on your device, select the train as per your convenience and click on Book Now.
  • Now enter your name, age, gender etc. and click on continue booking.
  • You can then pay the ticket price using debit card, credit card, net banking, digital wallet.
  • After paying the ticket amount, your ticket will be booked. IRCTC will inform you about this through SMS and mail.
