Even though diabetes is a disease, it cannot be taken lightly. If sugar is not controlled in time, the risk of many other diseases also increases. Good diet and exercise are very important to stay healthy. But many diabetic patients have a question whether they can do heavy exercise. But diabetic patients may face problems during exercise, because due to lack of insulin, food in the body gets absorbed in the blood in the form of glucose instead of converting it into energy. So due to this, diabetic patients are not able to produce enough energy, hence they have to face many problems. Therefore, they should exercise keeping some things in mind.

For the first few days, check your sugar levels before and after exercise. So that you can know how your body is reacting to the sugar level. If your sugar level is too low or too high then avoid exercising.

Diabetic patients should especially start any exercise slowly. Do not do high intensity exercise suddenly. If you are exercising for 30 minutes, then next week increase the time by 5 minutes and then increase it to 35 minutes.
