Deepika Padukone will not be in Kalki 2898 AD Part 2! Will she be replaced due to maternity leave? Fans are worried

Director Nag Ashwin is everyone's favourite at the moment. Kalki 2898 AD is still ruling the box office. Nag Ashwin is married to Priyanka. Now he is ready to bring the second part of Kalki 2898 AD. A source close to the matter said, 'The sequel has to be planned somehow, no matter what the fate of Kalki is. Now that it has proved to be a money-maker beyond anything else, the makers felt that the next part should be made fast. It is learned that Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas and Kamal Haasan will be seen again in the sequel of Kalki 2898 AD but Deepika will not be seen in it. The source further said, 'At the moment it is not very clear whether Deepika Padukone will be a part of the sequel of Kalki 2898 AD or not. Many sources have informed me but now with the growing success of the first film and the increasing demand for the sequel, the makers may decide to replace Deepika with someone else in the second part.'

Nag Ashwin has become a top filmmaker

It is worth noting that Kalki 2898 AD has not performed as expected in the Telugu language. But it has rocked the box office in the cow belt. With this film, Nag Ashwin has joined the ranks of the biggest Indian film directors along with SS Rajamouli, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Karan Johar. Obviously the fans are upset to hear this. Their reactions are also being seen.

'Kalki 2898 A.D.' Box Office

'Kalki 2898 E.D.' has had a good run in theatres for two weeks and the absence of any big film did not affect its box office collection, but that streak is likely to end today as the dystopian science-fiction film will face tough competition from Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' and will also clash with Akshay Kumar's 'Sarfira'. According to Sacnic, on the 15th day of its release, 'Kalki 2898 E.D.' earned Rs 6.7 crore at the domestic box office. The total collection of the film has gone up to Rs 543.45 crore.
