Rahul Gandhi’s Message
In a recent event in Raipur, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, alongside Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, attended the ‘Rajiv Yuva Mitan Sammelan.’ Here, he emphasized a message of love and unity, contrasting it with what he perceives as the BJP’s divisive tactics.
Love Over Hatred
Rahul Gandhi stated that while the BJP is known for spreading hatred, the Congress aims to promote love and unity. He firmly believes that a country cannot progress if it is marred by hatred and violence. Economic strength also eludes a nation built on such divisive principles.
Pro-Poor Governments
Addressing the audience, Rahul Gandhi highlighted that several Indian state governments, including Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and the upcoming government in Madhya Pradesh and Telangana, are committed to serving the interests of the poor. He emphasized that these governments do not favor big corporate entities like Adani.
Allegations Against Adani
Gandhi also brought up allegations against Adani, a prominent industrialist. He mentioned reports claiming that Adani, who is close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, allegedly moved substantial amounts of money out of India to boost his company’s stock market shares. Rahul Gandhi questioned why there hasn’t been an inquiry into these allegations and urged the Prime Minister to address this matter.
PM’s Allegiance
In his speech, Rahul Gandhi accused Prime Minister Modi of working in the interest of a select few billionaires in the country. He questioned the Prime Minister’s reluctance to investigate Adani, suggesting that the consequences of such an investigation may not favor Adani but someone else.
Empowering Tribals
Lastly, Gandhi criticized the BJP’s treatment of tribals, referring to them as “vanvasi” (forest dwellers). He argued that the BJP’s labeling of tribals in this manner aims to keep them confined to the forest and prevent them from pursuing their aspirations in various fields.
