Baloch leader and head of the Free Balochistan Movement (FBM), Harbyar Marri, said on social media platform X that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has historically carried out military operations against the Baloch people.
He referred to campaigns carried out in the 1970s and the “kill and dump” policy of 2009 under the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) rule.

“The PPP conducted military operations against the Baloch people in the 1970s and introduced the hit and throw policy in 2009. And every time they come to government they apologise to the Baloch people but they continue military operations against the Baloch,” Marri posted on X (formerly Twitter).
Marri stressed that despite repeated apologies, the PPP continues to carry out military terror and operations against the Baloch whenever it is in power.
In another post on social media, Murri referred to the presence of former president Asif Ali Zardari in Balochistan and expressed concern over a possible military action in the future. “Now #AsifZardari is in #Balochistan and talking about the security situation. I expect another intense military operation against Balochistan. But Baloch people are ready to face #Pakistani #Punjabi army,” he wrote.
In a press statement, FBM elaborated, “It should be noted that apart from military terrorism in Punjab, Pakistan no longer has any existence in Balochistan politically, economically and socially.”
The statement further said, “The Balochistan freedom movement continues successfully. Despite strong threats from the state, the Punjabi army cannot crush the Baloch movement as it enjoys widespread public support.”
This ongoing conflict underscores the persistent tensions and struggle for independence in Balochistan, which will have significant implications for the stability and future of the region.
