'Bad News' showed its strength even on the sixth day, but 'Deadpool and Wolverine' increased the heartbeats! 'Sarfira' is a problem

'Bad News' has once again shown its strong hold on the box office on Wednesday. This romantic-comedy starring Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri and Amy Virk has earned more than Rs 3 crore on the sixth day of its release. The film is completing its first week on Thursday and it is seen earning Rs 43-44 crore in seven days. But with this, its heartbeat has also increased due to 'Deadpool and Wolverine' releasing on Friday, because to become a hit, it will have to maintain the same pace of earning in the second week as well. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar's 'Sarfira' has now wrapped up its business after 13 days. According to sacnilk, 'Bad News', directed by Anand Tiwari, has made a net collection of 3.15 crores in the country on Wednesday. A day earlier on Tuesday, it had earned Rs 3.75 crore. The total collection of the film at the Indian box office in six days has now become Rs 40.10 crore. The film's first week is ending on Thursday. To be successful, it needs to make a net collection of at least Rs 60 crore in two weeks.

'Bad News' faces a big threat from 'Deadpool and Wolverine'

The budget of 'Bad News' is said to be 75-80 crores. The film has taken a good start and is maintaining a strong hold even in the working days. But it is too early to say whether it is a hit or not. Especially because its attraction is more in big cities. The problem with 'Bad News' is that it is earning the best in big cities like Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Punjab along with Bengaluru. But 'Deadpool and Wolverine', which are releasing on Friday, are also going to show more strength in these sectors. In such a situation, it is very important for 'Bad News' to remain strong in the second week as well.

Worldwide collection of 'Bad News'

Based on a rare pregnancy condition called Heteroparental Superfecundation, the film has earned Rs 71.85 crore worldwide in 6 days. Out of this, Rs 24 crore has been earned abroad, while the gross collection in India has been Rs 47.85 crore.

'Sarfira' earned 100 crores, but earned only 31 crores worldwide in 13 days

On the other hand, 'Sarfira' directed by Sudha Kongra has proved to be another disaster for Akshay Kumar. This is Akshay's second flop film in the year 2024 after 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'. This film has made a net collection of only Rs 22.20 crore in the country in 13 days. Whereas its budget is Rs 100 crore. On Wednesday, the 13th day of its release, the film has earned only Rs 35 lakh. The worldwide collection of the film is also nothing special. 'Sarfira' has made a gross collection of around 31.00 crores worldwide in six days i.e. 13 days.
