B.Tech in Delhi: B.Tech course closed in Delhi! These courses will no longer be taught in 5 campuses of DSEU

B.Tech Courses in Delhi: Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly, Vijender Gupta has targeted the government over the education system in Delhi Government's Technical University. He says that not even 20 students are taking admission in B.Tech course in Delhi Government's Higher Technical University which claims to have a world-class education model. Due to the low number of students, the government closed the B.Tech branch in 5 campuses of Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU).

The most sought after courses are not getting students!

According to Gupta, among the higher technical courses in Delhi, B-Tech is the most in demand among students. But, the condition of this government university is such that students are not being found to take admission in this course. This is the reason why the government had to close the B-Tech branch in five campuses of technical education.

DSEU has issued an order on September 2 stating that the number of students in B.Tech branches of five different campuses is less than 20. Therefore, this branch is being closed.

Gupta said that 11 students have taken admission in B-Tech branch of Aryabhatta DSEU located in Ashok Vihar for Civil Engineering course, 8 for Mechanical Engineering in the same campus, 11 for Electrical Engineering course in Pusa-1 campus, 9 for Network Engineering in Okhla-2 campus and 10 for Mechatronics Engineering in the same campus. The number of students is relatively less, while the demand is high in all these courses.
