AUS vs AFG: After registering a big win over Australia, Rashid Khan said – The biggest victory for our country…

New Delhi. Afghanistan team won a very exciting match against Australia. Batting first, the team scored 148 runs for 6 wickets on the basis of half centuries of Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran. Chasing the target, Australia team could not play even 20 overs and was all out in 19.2 overs. After the match, Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan said that this is a big victory for his team.

Rashid Khan said, “This is a big win for us as a team and a country. It feels great. This is something we missed in the last two years. I am very happy with the victory and very proud of the players. It is very important for us to come back with the same playing XI. We are understanding the opposition bowling lineup and selecting the XI accordingly. A score of 140 was good on this wicket. We could not perform as well as we should have. The opening partnership gave us a great start.”

Talking about the match, Afghanistan got a solid start with a century partnership between opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran. Both batsmen got out after scoring half-centuries. Thanks to Gurbaz's 60 and Zadran's 51 runs, the Afghan team put up a fighting score. While chasing the target, Glenn Maxwell scored the highest 59 runs for Australia. Apart from this, no batsman could even cross the 15-run mark. Australia's team was all out for 127 runs.
