CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023 Registration Now Open
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has commenced the registration process for the Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023. If you are eligible and interested in applying for this scholarship, you should visit the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in, or send an email to scholarship.cbse@nic.in. Prior to applying, ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria.
Who Can Apply
This scholarship is exclusively available to individuals who are the sole children of their parents. To be eligible, you must meet the following requirements:
- You should have successfully passed the 10th grade from CBSE.
- You must have secured a minimum of 60 percent marks in the CBSE Board 10th exam.
- You should be pursuing further studies in the 11th and 12th grades at a CBSE-affiliated school.
- The monthly tuition fee of the school you are attending should not exceed Rs 1500 during the academic year.
Application Deadline
The last date to apply for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023 is October 18, 2023. Selected candidates will receive Rs 500 per month and a total of Rs 6000 per year, amounting to Rs 12000 over two years.
Renew Your Scholarship
CBSE has also announced that along with new applications for the 2023 scholarship, they are also accepting applications for renewing the scholarship for the year 2022.
