Released last year on 1 December 2023, this film earned around 915 crores worldwide, while its budget was just Rs 100 crore. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, this film proved to be an all-time blockbuster. Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap also liked this film very much.

Shared a picture with Sandeep Reddy Vanga

Anurag often shares things related to the director of 'Animal' and this film on social media, but now he has revealed that his daughter has different ideas about this film. Recently he talked to YouTuber Janice Sequira in which he shared many things about his personal life. He also talked about Sandeep Reddy Vanga with whom he has also posted his picture on Instagram.

Alia hates animals

Anurag mentioned his liking and said that he liked many things in this film including music and action. He also said that people had said different things on his picture with Vanga. In the same conversation, the director also told that his daughter Alia also hates 'Animal'.

Why did people not like this movie?

He said, 'After that post of mine, my friends called me and asked me 10,000 questions. After this I said, leave everything else, what is the name of the film… Animal. So its name cannot be Human. Why did people not like this film, because it had everyone's favourite Ranbir Kapoor.'

The daughter told all this to her father

Earlier, Alia had mentioned the picture shared by Anurag Kashyap on her podcast and said, 'In the caption of the post, you were promoting a person, which I was not very happy about. I actually saw Animal and immediately called you and said – what a terrible, anti-women film it is and how much I hate it and you agreed with me. A week later when I opened Instagram, I saw a post of my father, in which a person was promoted, which I was thinking about.'
