Anurag Kashyap said, 'Yes, I have been to jail. I slapped the wrong person. Someone you shouldn't have slapped. I was in jail for one night. The person who put me in jail, that person changed my life completely. He was the one who got me out.' Anurag Kashyap told that the person who put him in jail was impressed with him because the filmmaker took a stand for the right thing.
Anurag Kashyap arrested for drunk driving in Saudi Arabia
Earlier in an interview, Anurag Kashyap had told another incident when he was arrested for drinking alcohol in Saudi Arabia. He had said then, 'There were no flights from Denmark because of volcanic ash. I was very tired and I drank alcohol and I went, took the ticket and I had to wait for five hours. I went to the lounge and started drinking because I wanted to faint. I sat on the flight and fainted. I landed in Saudi, they arrested me because I was roaming around completely drunk on Saudi soil. They started interrogating me.'

Talking about career, Anurag Kashyap is now trying his hand at acting. However, he has done small scenes in some projects before. Recently he was also seen in Vijay Sethupathi starrer Tamil film 'Maharaj', in which he was well liked. Talking about the series 'Bad Cop', it was released on OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar on June 21.
