Amazing… BJP won two seats in Lok Sabha elections even before counting of votes, know the whole matter

New Delhi: Today is the day of decision in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Counting of votes will start from 8 am. Before this, two seats have already gone to the account of BJP, only formal announcement is yet to be made. These two seats are Surat in Gujarat and Indore in Madhya Pradesh. In fact, BJP candidate Mukesh Dalal has won the election unopposed in Surat. The nomination form of Congress candidate Nilesh Kumbhani, who was contesting against him, was canceled due to some defect. At the same time, other candidates withdrew their names on this seat. After which the Surat Collector declared the BJP candidate victorious. In this way, BJP won in Surat even before the counting.

The BJP candidate being elected unopposed in Surat is a big setback for the opposition parties, especially the Congress. However, not only in Surat, a similar game has been played with the Congress in Indore as well. The second Lok Sabha seat that has gone to the BJP's account is Indore in Madhya Pradesh. Here the BJP has made Shankar Lalwani its candidate. Against him, the Congress has declared Akshay Kanti Bam as its candidate. However, the Congress has suffered a big setback here.

What happened was that Congress candidate Akshay Kanti Bam filed his nomination. Later BJP took the Congress candidate into its fold. After this the Congress candidate withdrew his nomination. This entire incident happened in Indore Lok Sabha seat when the nomination process was completed. In such a situation Congress could not field any new candidate. In this way, after Surat, BJP's victory was confirmed in Indore as well.

However, the BJP candidate has not been declared the winner of the Indore seat yet. This is because there are independent candidates in the fray. People also have the option of NOTA. However, the victory of BJP candidate Shankar Lalwani is certain, only the formal announcement is pending. After the withdrawal of the name of the Congress candidate, the path of the BJP candidate in Indore has become easier.
