Akshay Kumar said that he is giving his 100 percent to ensure that his films are successful, however, luck at the box office is not in his hands. At the trailer launch event, Akshay said, “We keep trying for the success of every type of film. I am not limited to one type of genre. I keep jumping from one genre to another, whether I get success or not, I have always worked like this. I will keep doing it… something that is social, something that is good, something in comedy, something in action.”

Akshay further said, “I will always keep doing different types of work. I will not stick to one type of thing just because people say, 'Sir, comedy and action are in vogue these days.' This does not mean that I should only take action. I myself start getting bored by doing the same kind of work. Be it Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, be it Airlift or Rustom, or many other films that I have done; Sometimes there is success, sometimes not.”

After this, Akshay remembered the time when 16 of his consecutive films flopped. He shared, “It is not that I have not seen (this phase before), there was a time when I had 16 consecutive flop films in my career. But I stood there and kept working and will do so now. This is a film of this year for which we all have worked very hard and now we are going to see the results. “We hope it brings good fortune to all of us.”

Written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar under the banner of Pooja Entertainment and AAZ Films and produced by Ali Abbas Zafar, Jackky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Himanshu Kishan Mehra, 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan' stars Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F.
