A big message for China
In the Malabar exercise, the navies of India, Australia, Japan and the US will also see how to land on each other's ships simultaneously. By working together as a team, they will see how these four navies can carry out an operation together if needed. This is a big message for China. If there is a need to increase pressure on China, then these four navies can do this work together. There are also many logistics agreements between the four countries. They can visit each other's ports and each other's warships can take necessary things from the other's port. The Malabar exercise started in 1992, when it was a bilateral exercise between the Indian Navy and the US Navy. Then Japan also joined it and in 2020 Australia also became a part of the Malabar exercise.
